Selva is a free, original WordPress theme for private resorts, boutique hotels, villas and retreats. It pairs a natural-luxury palette — forest green, sand and brass — with editorial serif typography and a calm, booking-focused layout. The homepage ships as a complete resort site: a full-bleed hero, a reservation / availability bar, an island intro with stats, a villas & suites showcase, curated experiences, a gallery, a guest testimonial and a reservation call-to-action.

How to install
- Download the ZIP below.
- In WordPress: Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
- Choose the ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate.
- Under Settings → Reading, set a static page as your homepage to use the resort layout.
- Assign a menu to “Primary Menu”, add your logo and edit the top-bar / Reserve link under Customize. Pair with any booking plugin to take real reservations.
About the demo images
The photos in the theme are original placeholder graphics (natural gradient panels marked “replace me”) created for this theme — safe to redistribute, but not real photography. Replace them with your own images, or images you are licensed to use (your own photos, or free stock from Unsplash, Pexels or Pixabay under their licenses) before launching a live site. Keep the same file names in the theme’s /images folder, or point front-page.php at your own uploads.
License
Selva is released under the GPL and is free for personal and commercial use. It is an original theme — not a copy of, and not affiliated with, any commercial template. The only thing you can’t do is resell the theme itself as-is. Full details are in the included LICENSE.
